Manchester Cycling Development Group cyclocross, Boggart Hole Clough, Manchester, 28 10 2007
In the ever changing conditions the course went from slippy and wet to sticky mud, following hard rain.
The first lap was lead by fast starting Stef (Horwich CC) with team mate Dave Brailsford taking overr on lap two. Keith Murray (Wheelspin Cycles / Scott) soon took the lead and slowly increased his gap throughout the race to win, leaving Brailsford and Rob Pugh (Liverpool Century) in 2nd and 3rd.
Murray’s victory was assured barring any mistakes. Pugh then left Brailsford with two laps remaining to take second place.
