Junior Ben Roach made the trip from the East Midlands worthwhile when he won the race oin Saturday at Otterspool Park. Roach finished clear by almost a minute from Richard Wilkinson (SIS Trek), with father Phil Roach (V45) coming in third.

Dave BrailsfordRob PughThe NW league battle between Dave Brailsford (Horwich, pictured left) and Rob Pugh (Liverpool Century, right) stayed as close as ever, with them finishing within 15 seconds of each other, 4th and 5th respectively.

Martin Woffindin (Sport City Velo) tok the Youth race by 25 seconds, whilst Sam Turton took a predictable victory in the U12s
