Selection Criteria for Youth Girls and Boys team at the Inter Area Champs
Tom Leivers, Team Manager for the North West Region, will be entering a Youth Girls and Boys team at the Inter Area Champs in Middlesbrough on 10 November
Rider’s selection will be based on final points tally from 5 NWCCA league races below and the 2 Rapha Super Cross Races in the north
North West top 5 male and female riders in each event will be given 5-4-3-2-1 points irrespective of their actual race position.
A rider’s best 4 races will count to the total points

- NWCCA Round 1 Leverhulme Park, Horwich 15/9/13
- NWCCA Round 3 Heaton park, Manchester 6/10/13
- NWCCA Round 4 Waddow Hall, Clitheroe 13/10/13
- NWCCA Round 5 Pignut Hill, Northwich 19/10/13
- NWCCA Round 6 Otterspool park, Liverpool 26/10/13
- Rapha Super Cross Broughton Hall, Skipton 19/10/13
- Rapha Super Cross Phillips Park, Manchester 20/10/13
Final selection is based on:
- Male – 3 highest points scorers from youth A and B plus 1 wildcard selected by the region
- Female – 3 highest points scorers from youth A and B plus 1 wildcard selected by the region.
- After the last selection race, our top scoring 3 Male & 3 Female riders will be selected to represent the Region.
- In the event of a tie on points the decider will be the highest placing in the Manchester Rapha Super Cross.
- 4th male place and 4th Female place will be decided by wild card decided by the region.
- Reserves – a reserve male and female rider will be selected by the region.
