We have had to change the course this year due to a previous event damaging the start finish field used last year.  This year’s start / finish will be in the upper field known as the ‘tripod field’.  Senior and Vet races will start in the far corner however youth and other categories will start on the tarmac drive as last year.

Registration and Sign on

  • All registration packs including numbers and transformers will be available at a separate collection point within the barn provided by league officials.  Sign on for all competitors will also be in the barn.  Entry to all races is only available on the day of the event, no pre entry is available.
  • PLEASE GET THERE IN GOOD TIME as thisis the first event and there WILL BE QUEUES despite the NWCCA’s best efforts because of the collection of registration packs and on-the-day registrations
  • Car parking is in the same place with a £2 fee being charged per car by the venue.  The Under 8,10 and 12’s races will have prizes supplied by Crank-It Racing.
  • New this year is a novice race for those who would like to try out a bit of competitive riding for the first time.
  • The course will be built on Friday the 9th of September. If you would like to help out with the build and get the chance to check out the course the venue will be open for course building from 2.00pm on Friday. (Fish and chips will be served between 5.00 and 6.00pm for all helpers!)
  • We are also having an artisan soup stall and tea and coffee, cakes and cold drinks available on Saturday.

Parking

The venue staff will collect parking fees of £2 per vehicle. Parking is on a hard surface but not suitable for larger motorhomes. Please also park as close as possible to other vehicles as space is limited.  Where possible please car / van share.  If the car park becomes full you will be directed to park along one side of the main drive up to the point where it narrows.  It is very important to keep access for emergency vehicles along the full tarmac approach so please do not block the road when parking. There will be a single lane 2 way entry and exit system to the car park so please assist the car park volunteers who will direct you.

Conservation work

To show the leagues support if this magnificent grade 1 listed gem all adult racers will be asked to contribute £1 to the ongoing restoration and conservation work. A very important payment which will help us secure this venue for the future so please do support this initiative.
