Rapha – Hitting the North in 2013

The return of the Rapha Super Cross Series is on the horizon…  with two of the three rounds taking place in the North of England this year. The first is at Broughton Hall for the second year – just our side of Skipton, North Yorkshire on the 19th of October. It’s a few miles outside of ‘our’ region and easily accessed for a lot of North West riders.
The Philips Park event next to the National Cycling Centre in Manchester on the 20th of October has been a popular NWCCA venue on and off over the last few years and the hilly but accessible circuit should make good racing and spectating alike.
There are entry categories for all ages and abilities, including an elite race that should prove to be very exciting, and a little bit special!
It’s going to be two great days of racing, and good fun for spectators as well, with hot food vans and live music to keep everyone fed and entertained.
All registration information can also be found at http://www.rapha.cc/uk-super-cross-2013.

You mention Phillips pk above. Do you mean Clayton vale…?

    • Hi Tim
No. Philips Park. DIRECTLY next to the velodrome. Please check on a map. (You may be thinking of the Philips Park in Prestwich).

Ah. yea . i was. So , its Phillips pk next to the velodrome? I’d say having two offroad cycling venues , in the same city , with the same name , is potentially confusing….
Especially as I’ve done a CX race at Prestwich. The HTN thing a few years back.
I thought the trails near the velodrome were Clayton something.
I’ll amend my files accordingly. thanks.
