For the 2024-25 season the following age categories will apply in British Cycling cyclo-cross events (effective from 1st September 2024):
- (NWCCA only): Under 8 born in 2017 or later
- Under 10 born in 2015 or 2016
- Under 12 born in 2013 or 2014
- Youth – born 2009 to 2012
- Youth – Under 16 – born 2009 or 2010
- Youth – Under 14 – born 2011 or 2012
- Junior born 2007 or 2008
- Under 23 born 2003 to 2006
- Senior born 2002 or earlier
Veteran – born 1984 or earlier
- Vet 40-49 born 1975 to 1984
- Vet 40 born 1980 to 1984
- Vet 45 born 1975 to 1979
- Veteran 50+ born 1974 or earlier
- Vet 50 born 1970 to 1974
- Vet 55 born 1965 to 1969
- Vet 60 born 1960 to 1964
- Vet 65 born 1955 to 1959
- Vet 70+ born 1954 or earlier
