NWCCA Round 5 – Landgate and Moss Quarries – Rossendale RC – result and pics

A day to remember again over in the Lancashire Pennines and a well-organised event by the Rossendale Road Club.  Veteran Nick Craig romped away with two wins yet again, after deciding to not make the long journey to the National Trophy in Southampton. Nick’s veteran win, over five laps of the moorland course,  was by a margin of 51 seconds, then the senior race by a more comfortable margin of 2 mins 30 for seven laps.  Nick’s younger son Charlie made it a worthwhile family day out by winning the Youth race, too.

A hearty well done to all – organisers, helpers, officials and competitors of all ages on this unique and challenging, varied course.
