Legislation regarding data protection, (The General Data Protection Act) from 25th May 2018 means affects on our organisation that you will need to consider and be aware of. The data that we hold on members is kept to the minimum but we do share some of that information when you register for the league or enter a race with our National Governing Body, British Cycling.

Sharing data with British Cycling

When you become a member of the North West Cyclocross League your data will automatically be registered with British Cycling. British Cycling will allow you to set and amend your privacy settings). We do not share your personal data with any other parties. 

Retention of Information on our systems

As an organisation we also keep data such as dates of birth, phone, postal address, email address and Licence Numbers on computers owned by the NWCCA. These are password-protected and all users have read and accepted our own internal Data Security Policy.

Deleting your data

If you no longer wish to be a member of the North West Cyclocross League, you should contact us at info@nwcca.org.uk to formally resign from the league and request that your data can be deleted.

Your data and this website

This website does not hold any personal private information, contact details etc., other than ones that have been granted specifically for use in organising cycling events.  If you find any of that kind of data on this website that you wish to be removed from it, we will do so as promptly as we can, and must do so within 30 days of your reasonable request.  To request the removal of any information  please contact info@nwcca.org.uk by email.
