Cyclocross Commissaire’s Course – 8 September

I’m pleased to say that we have been able to secure a date for the Cyclo Cross Commissaires course at the National Cycling Centre. Although it is relatively short notice, the benefit of delivering the course on Saturday 8th September is that it will precede the start of the 2012-13 League, so all of the events will be available for the new Assistant Commissaires to develop their experience.
We can work with up to 20 people on the course, so if there is anyone you know within the League who is interested in training, please send this on to them:
Date of course: Saturday 8th September
Venue: National Cycling Centre, Manchester
Time: 9.30am – 5.00pm
There will be an online learning module to complete prior to attending the course. This will take 60 – 90 minutes to complete and can be worked through at your own pace. I will send a link to the online learning module to all interested candidates who will need to log in to the British Cycling website using their British Cycling membership number.

Having been involved in the pilot of the new Cyclo Cross Commissaires course, I am confident that these new candidates will have the best possible start to their Commissaire experience. The course now contains more specific event information and details of current practice. Existing Commissaires are invited to complete the online learning module and attend the new course if they wish to update or refresh their knowledge.
