Horwich Humdinger 2013 – NWCCA Round 1

Well… the North West ‘cross season started with North West ‘cross weather just as it did in Preston last year. We wouldn’t have it any other way. A new course at Leverhulme Park was carefully crafted by Dave Headon and his Horwich CC team and produced fast, exciting racing with a bit for everyone. The heavy rain kept the ground mucky but not cloggy, and riders kept a good pace in all categories

Well done to the respective race winners – including evergreen vet Nick Craig who saw off a good field in the senior race.
