Rossendale ‘Cross – Preview

‘Cross is back in the ‘dale. Five years on from a snowy day in 2008 on the hilly course at Edgeside Park, Waterfoot, the Rossendale Road Club are putting on an event on 22nd December.

Richie Watts and his Rossendale RC team are requesting that competitors and supporters park at Fearns Specialist Sports College, Fearns Moss, Stacksteads, Bacup, Lancashire, OL13 0TG, – less than 5 minutes walk from the park,

The car park will open from 9.30 am. Bikes are not to be cleaned in the car park or on any of the surrounding roads. We want to use this venue again so do not want to upset the local council and residents.

A “draft” lap is here on Strava – approx 100 feet of climbing per lap, but with much of the climbing on grippy surfaces, and most of everything else on not quite so grippy…!
