Important – Cartmel ‘cross – 7th November

A request from Racecourse manager at Cartmel estates.

Riders have been asked not to practise on the course around the estates prior or post event. Last year it appears that cyclists were seen using the course to train/practise before and after the event.

The Estates have reminded us that this is private land and can only be used for cycling during specific organised events. Please can all riders adhere to this notice in order for us to keep this event running. Your support for this is greatly appreciated.

Further information concerning the event will be posted on this website next week, however please also note we have been asked to charge a £3 car parking fee for the day by the estates management. Please use this facility which will be by the sports/football field adjacent to the racing rather than the village. (Please follow signs to car parking).

It’s our finding venues that secures events – please don’t make it any harder. Thanks.
