Preview: Season finale at Buille Hill, Salford, 25th January
The Mario Kart finale to the North West cyclocross season is back! Enter here before 23:50 on 21st Jan
We are using a similar course to last year’s event but there are some changes becuse of building and excavation work going on at Buile Hill mansion. Expect the usual super-compact combination of grass, short singletrack, sand and a lot of cornering. A lot of cornering!
Car parking and sign on are at Buile Hill Academy, on Chesely Road M6 8RD, which is just off Eccles Old Road. Please note this is not the same location as previous years, so please follow the signs from the main road. There’s no charge for parking this year.
We have the legendary Real Belgian Fries providing on-site catering, hot footing it to Salford from last week’s CX National Championships.
We will also be joined in the park by Salford’s neighbouring club, Astley and Tyldesley to demo their upcoming cycle speedway events.
Remember: please do not try to park vans or cars inside the grounds of Buile Hill park itself. This is doubly important this year. The continuing building work means that access is extremely limited. Roads and pathways inside the park have to to be kept clear for emergency vehicles.
Sign on is at Buile Hill Academy, so if you don’t park there, you’ll need to make your way there anyway.
