Aim: Build rider confidence in attack position, braking, cornering, and descending.

| Intro (5m) | Safety | Chat and check (brakes, wheels, helmet, bar plugs) |
| Warm-Up (15m) | Balance & bike feel | • Easy spin (5m) • Slow Race grid (5m) • Bottle pick-up drill (5m) Cue: Eyes up, pedals turning. |
| Core 1: Braking (10m) | Weight transfer & control | Sprint-to-stop drill in attack position (pedals level, elbows bent). Cue: “Heavy feet, light hands”; hips back. |
| Core 2: Handling (15m) | Turning & slope control | Cone slalom/Figure-8 (10m) + Grass bank descent (5m). Cue: Outside pedal down, lean bike, look through exit. |
| Mini-Loop (15m) | Skill integration | 1-min loop (sprint, heavy brake, tight turn, bank descent). Cue: Brake before the turn, not in it. |
| Race Simulation (10m) | Race pace in traffic | Follow-the-leader in groups of 2–3; rotate leader each lap. Cue: Look at leader’s hips, not rear tire. |
| Cool-Down (5m) | Recovery & debrief | Easy flat spin, quick Q&A recap, Session 2 teaser. |
