A new course for 2006/07 – A mixture of hard gravel tracks, short, sharp dismount climbs and a few bits of awkward grassland that could be slow if it”s been raining in the days before. Expect some fast, open racing on the harder parts of the course.
How to get there:
See map – Radcliffe is a few miles north of Manchester”s M60 Ring Road – Junction 17 is the best one to access it from. If you come in to Radcliffe from this side, head for the town centre and at the bottom of the gradual descent of New Road, where it becomes Pilkington Way at the lights at the bottom, (Just when you can spot ASDA ahead)? turn left into Outwood Road (Signed towards Kearsley and Farnworth). Outwood Park is accessed on the right on an un-named lane opposite James Street, roughly 300 metres up Outwood Road.
