New event (non-league) – Mad Madison Christmas Cross 10th December 2011

A non points counting event but part of the North West Cyclo Cross league, the ‘Mad Madison Christmas Cross’ will take place on Saturday 10 December. The event will be held at the Clayton Vale Park in Central Manchester and close to the National Cycling Centre. Signing on will at the Evans Cycles shop at the NCC, with free refreshments after the race for all race entrants at the new Velodrome Cafe. Changing facilities will also be available at the NCC

There will be some great prizes from Evans Cycles, with special prizes including best dressed riders, Vets, Family teams, Women Teams and of course the overall winners. You can bring a partner or we will sort you out with someone on the day!

Parking will be at the NCC and will be a short ride from the NCC. The course will be adjacent to the River Park Road entrance of Clayton Vale (Not the Visitor Centre Entrance – as per previous ClaytonVale events). It will be a short 5 minute lap so should be fast and furious !!!

Racing will kick off at 11am with an U12 even, with the Madison at 12am – Under 16s will be able to ride in the Madison event.

Entry Fees are as follows (all on the day)

  • U12 – £1 on the day only
  • Youth £6 (u14/u16)
  • Junior £6
  • U23 – £10
  • Senior – £10
  • Vet – £10
  • Super Vet – £10
  • Women – £10
