HMCC Cross Beacon Park – Results

What was meant to be Round 1 was Round 4, as it turned out. And dare we say the rain made it a little more tasty? Cheeky.

With the mercury saying 16 degrees plus, it felt like it really was trying to be an early round of the NWCCA league, but the brown bikes and the sound of jet washes reminded us that it is now late October.

The impeccable organisation by the organising team was enjoyed by all riders, and the fine tweaks to the course definitely didn’t go unnoticed. After 5 years organising at the same venue, we are really hitting a sweet spot. The new woodland sections were a fine addition to the parcours, and despite a number of big names away at the clashing National Trophy event in Falkirk, each field put on a fine race. Thanks as ever to everyone who makes these race days possible and safely run.
