Round 7 Results, Barrow Central Wheelers – ‘Another Fine Mess’ at Ulverston
The reception was warm, the racing was hot, the weather was … well… two out of three aint bad.
A chilly day in the picturesque estuary-side venue with so much to offer, and it’s nice to be back after a 3 year covid hiatus. Before we think about how cold it was for rider, take a moment to give thanks to the officials and marshals who helped out today, but also the (Laurel-and) Hardy souls who went about sinking hundreds of stakes into frozen and rocky ground all day yesterday.
