Event Preview: NWCCA 2023/24 Round 4 – Towneley Park — Sunday 22nd October 2023
This year as part of Challenge Tires sponsoring the League, we will have Andy McAteer the UK Brand Manager on hand to talk all things tyres. He will be bringing a range of product to look at including the usual mix of cyclocross tyres as well as the road and gravel options. If you have any questions, feel free to go and have a chat with him.

Sign on
Signing on will be open from 9:00 at the gazebo by the entrance to the Riverside car park.
Please sign on in plenty of time.
Course
We are using a similar course to last year’s event with some variations to the top part of the senior course, there will still be a good combination of grass, gravel and woodland. We will have a separate U12’s course again this year.
We have got path closures in place for the day so the general public should not be on the course. Please be respectful of other park users, take any litter home with you we would like to come back here again next year.
Pits/jet wash area
We have a double pit with a jet wash area at each end. All jet washing must be done in the jet wash area provided, not in the car park.
Facilities
Toilets and café are situated in the Riverside car park. There is another café at Towneley Hall a short walk away.
Podium
Youth, U8, U10 and U12 – we aim to do the presentation immediately after their race has finished.
Prizes for senior races will be sent via bank transfer after the event.
