Red Rose Olympic Hoghton Tower – update
Course building started today with most of one of the larger fields now ready. Work will continue tomorrow and we are hoping to be completed by tomorrow evening. Thanks to those who have chosen Round 2 to support the event as volunteers.
There will be a volunteer meeting from 8.45am on Saturday morning in the Barn where roles will be allocated. Most of you will be marshalling but we still require some manual scorers to act as back-up to the chip timing system, so if this is your thing please let Jez Eastham know at the meeting and we will get you set-up. We are also a little short on car park marshals so do let us know if you can help and we will put you on the rota.
Finally can I ask all competitors and spectators to be patience when parking – its not the best venue for getting everyone in and out so your assistance in parking close to one another will be much appreciated.
Did anyone catch the very brief course preview up the drive on Peaky Blinders this week. If not don’t worry see the event preview post for a longer version of the course filmed a couple of years ago.
See you Saturday
Colin
